BRIEF
In the early days of Dove’s #RealBeauty platform in Vietnam, the brand invited a fresh 60-second film that challenged social norms and redefined beauty.

CONTEXT
“Be yourself” had become a tired cliché—overused, under-felt, and rarely empowering. Simply repeating it wouldn’t break through.

INSIGHT
Being yourself isn’t about staying the same. We evolve, by choice and by necessity. Growth isn’t self-betrayal. It’s how we survive, thrive, and move closer to who we want to be.

IDEA
We told the story of an ordinary woman through the hairstyles she chose at different life stages. Each change carried emotion, purpose, and support, allowing her to stay true to herself, at every age.

The line “Keep up with your own beauty” reframed self-expression as a journey, with Dove protecting hair along the way.
